PURPOSE:To contrive reduction of cost of equipment and floor space occupied by the equipment by enabling manufacturing of different kinds of films with one calender by changing the number of rolling passes, by changing a film take-off position to a calender body by moving a take-off roll. CONSTITUTION:In the case where a calender body having five stage rolling passes 7-11 is used at, for example, four passes, a take-off roll device 17 is raised by stretching cylinders 18, 19 and situated at the side of a calender roll 5. When raw materials 20 are fed between calender rolls 1, 2, the raw materials 20 are rolled by the rolling passes 7-10 one after another and become a film 21. The said film 21 is taken off by the take-off roll device 17 through the calender roll 5 without being rolled by the rolling pass 21. Therefore, different kinds of the films 21 can be manufactured by one calender.
