Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the improvement of reliability by arranging in series plural rotors supported by magnetic bearings at both shaft ends in one casing so that only one sealing device is required and thereby the number of anxious place for gas leakage can be reduced. CONSTITUTION:Plural rotors 3, 7, 12 are arranged in series in one casing 1, and respective rotors 3, 7, 12 are supported by magnetic bearings 13 to 18 at both shaft ends. Thereby, the torque of a compressor transmitted through a drive coupling 20 is transmitted to the respective rotors 3, 7, 12 in the casing 1 through the rotor 12, and a gas sealing device 23 is arranged to prevent inner gas from leakage to the outside only at the place at which the rotor 12 pierces through an end plate 22 comprising the casing 1. Therefore, the gas sealing can be achieved even the number of place requiring measures for gas leakage is remarkably reduced, and high reliability can be realized.
