Abstract

PURPOSE: To accurately attach a large-sized part such as an LSI in a prescribed attachment position by detecting coordinate data by a fixed camera and a mobile camera in their visions and providing a component attaching means for correcting component attaching position information based on the detected data. CONSTITUTION: A robot arm 2 is moved on a tray 8 and the picture of an LSI 9 is taken by a mobile camera 3 to find storage data for components. After the arm 2 is rotated and moved based on the storage data so as to be positioned right above the LSI 9, the LSI 9 is pinched by the arm 2 and moved on the fixed camera 1. The arm 2 is rotated by the deviation rotation quantity detected by the fixed camera 1, and the position data of the LSI 9 is found in this state so that the component attachment position data is corrected based on an error between the position data and the reference position data. The corrected component attachment position data is provided with the robot, the arm 2 is moved and rotated to a position corresponding to the data, and the LSI 9 is accurately attached to the prescribed attachment position.
