Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the strength of a lower die without providing a carry-out path on the lower die of a die by separating a panel in a work and scrap by the die for shearing, setting the work to a bending die by transferring the work and scrap with their suction and dropping the scrap by transferring it to a carry-out hole.
CONSTITUTION: A panel is separated in a work panel P1 and scrap panel P2 by a die 3. Then, vacuum pads 11, 12 having awaited at position A are moved onto a lower die 3b and the work panel P1 is sucked by the vacuum pad 11 and the scrap panel P2 by the vacuum pad 12. Then, the work panel P1 and scrap panel P2 are transferred onto a lower die 4b by the vacuum pads 11, 12 and the work panel P1 is set onto the lower die 4b by releasing the suction of the vacuum pad 11. Thereafter, the scrap panel P2 sucked on the vacuum pad 12 is transferred to the upper part of a carry-out hole and dropped into the carryout hole by releasing the suction. Consequently no carry-out path is formed on a lower die 3b and the strength of the lower die can be improved.
