Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a circuit with a small speed-delay time product even when only a single phase output is used by connecting a resistor and a capacitive load as a gate bias of a current source FET in a source coupled type FET logic circuit (SCFL circuit). CONSTITUTION:A FET logic circuit uses a capacitor and a resistor so as to vary tentatively a gate bias of a current source FET of an SCFL circuit in response to an input signal. When the input changes from a low to a high level, the potential at a node 32 is raised momentarily by the electric charge conservation rule and discharged via a resistor 6. Thus, the current driving capability of a MESFET 5 is improved tentatively. Since the speed depends on the current of the current source FET, the leading characteristic when the input changes from a low to a high level is quickened. Moreover, when the input changes from a high to a low level, although the current of the MESFET 5 is decreased, since the MESFET 3 is cut off, the speed is not deteriorated.
