CONSTITUTION:This silver halide photographic sensitive material contains a photosensitive silver halide emulsion, an emulsion of metal salt particles having internal fogging nuclei and a compd. represented by formula I (where each of M1 and M2 is H, an alkali metal atom or an ammonium ion, n is an integer of 1-8, R is H or 1-6C alkyl, and in case of n>=2, groups R may be different from each other). The sensitive material hardly depends on development conditions and a high-contrast image having high sensitivity is rapidly obtd. with a small amt. of silver.
