Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct motor revolution nonuniformity in actual loading, by getting to store the error of a cycle length of each detected pulse caused by the detection nonuniformity of speed of revolution when a motor is not loaded. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 1 is not loaded, a wow and flutter detection section 9 measures the cycle length of each speed pulse in one revolution, works out the dividing nonuniformity of the cycle length of each speed pulse and writes the difference between the cycle length of each speed pulse and the specified cycle length into a memory 11 as a corrected value. When the motor 1 is actually loaded, a correction section 12 outputs a measured cycle length corrected by a corrected value with the memory 11. An error signal making section 13 outputs a speed error signal in proportion to the cycle length of each speed pulse depending on the output from the correction section 12. An adder 16 adds a speed error signal and a phase error signal and outputs to a drive circuit 17.
