Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the degree of stabilization upon stationary operation and permit the restraint of an accidental current, by a method wherein a superconductive material is controlled usually at a temperature whereat the electric resistance thereof is nearly zero while the temperature is risen quickly upon accident. CONSTITUTION:A device NT, consisting of the principal element of a superconductive material N, is provided at the side of the bus of a breaker. The temperature of the superconductive material N in the device NT is controlled at a temperature, whereat the electric resistance thereof is nearly zero, at all times. A passing current 15 derived by a current transformer CT upon accident to detect it by a detecting unit C0 and when a detected value is higher than a given value, a valve V is controlled to send high-temperature steam H to the superconductive material N.
