Abstract
PURPOSE:To set temperature suitable for sleeping in a short time, by comparing the internal temperature of an electric blanket with a prescribed value and then by stopping the feeding of electricity for a long time when the internal temperature is greater than the prescribed value or for a short time when less correspondingly. CONSTITUTION:The heater wire 10 of an electric blanket is fed with electricity via an SCR32 and the internal temperature of the blanket is detected by a temperature detecting circuit 22, whose detected value is A/D-converted 30 and then inputted to a microcomputer muCM31. The muCM31 compares the detected value from the circuit 22 with its internally stored prescribed value; when it is greater than the prescribed value, the SCR32 is turned off via a trigger circuit 33 for a corresponding long period and when less, the SCR is turned off for a corresponding short period, thereby stopping the feeding of electricity to the heater wire 10. On the basis of the current detected temperature from the circuit 22, the muCM31 calculates the set temperature of the blanket. Then, the muCM31 controls the SCR32 to obtain the set temperature. Consequently, the blanket is set at temperature suitable for sleeping automatically in a short time.
