Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the excellent characteristic and reproducibility by forming a superconductor with the specific composition as a thin film on an oxide substrate with the composition of Tb2MCuO5. CONSTITUTION:A superconductor with the composition of LnM2Cu3O7-k is formed as a thin film on an oxide substrate with the composition of Tb2MCuO5, where Ln is at least one kind among La, Nd, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu, Y; M is at least one kind among Ba, Sr, Ca; and (k) is 0<k<1. An oxide made of the same or similar component element to the component element of the Ln-M-Cu-O composite oxide superconductor is used as the substrate material, thus the thermal expansion coefficients of the superconductor and the substrate are very close values. The thermal stress and thermal distortion are rarely generated between the substrate and the thin film, and the reaction between the substrate and the superconductor at a high temperature is prevented. The good superconductive characteristic can be thereby obtained stably.
