Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress the occurrence of an eddy current in a winding and to eliminate a locally quenched part by a method wherein, regarding a sheet-like superconducting material having the anisotropy in an energizing direction, a direction whose energizing performance is high is aligned with a winding direction of the winding and the winding is constituted in such a way that a direction whose energizing performance is low is aligned with an axial direction of the winding. CONSTITUTION:Regarding a sheet-like superconducting material 11 made of oxide whose energizing an isotropy of a crystal is arranged, a direction 12 whose energizing performance is high is aligned with the winding direction 12; a direction whose energizing performance is low is aligned with an axial direction of the winding; an insulating 13 is piled up; these are wound on an insulating tube 14; the winding is completed. The superconducting oxide material 11 has a property that an electric current flows easily only inside a definite plane of the crystal and that the electric current hardly flows in a direction perpendicular to the plane. The superconducting material having this anisotropy is wound in the direction whose electricity-conducting performance is high and the direction whose energizing performance is low is aligned with the axial direction of the winding; accordingly, the electric current flows uniformly inside the plane of the sheet winding; an eddy current which is to flow in the axial direction hardly flows; the current density inside the winding becomes uniform. Accordingly, there is no fear that a locally quenched part is caused.
