Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an extremely stable constant current by setting a pair of constant current generating means consisting of Zener diodes, transistors and resistances between input/output terminals. CONSTITUTION:The constant current generating means 18 and 1 are set between the input/output terminals 11 and 12. A current flows to a Zener diode 20 when a prescribed potential difference is secured between both terminals 11 and 12. Thus the voltage of a fixed level is produced. This voltage and a resistance 22 function to control the collector current of a transistor TR23 and a constant current flows through the resistance 22 and the TR23. This constant current is supplied to a Zener diode 27 and therefore the voltage of a fixed level is also produced at the diode 27. The collector current of a TR24 is controlled by the voltage of the diode 27 and a resistance 25. Then a constant current flows from the diode 20 through the resistance 25. As a result, the sum of the constant current flowing through the resistance 22 and the constant current flowing through the diode 20 flows between the terminals 11 and 12. Thus an extremely stable constant current is obtained.
