Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an extremely stable current with a 2-terminal constant current source that is active at a high voltage level, by using a constant current source consisting of a pair of constant current generating means and a Zener diode. Thus the voltage of a fixed level is produced at the diode 27 and a fixed current decided by said voltage and a resistance 25 are supplied to the terminal 12 via the resistance 25. As a result, the potential difference produced between both terminals 11 and 12 changes and the current flowing to the resistance 25 through resistances 161-16n and a Zener diode 17 changes. In such a case, the current flowing to the resistance 25 from a TR24 also changes and the current flowing to the resistance 25 is kept at a constant level. The sum of the constant current flowing through the resistance 22 and the diode 27 and the current flowing through the resistance 25 flows between the terminals 11 and 12.
