Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate folding in a phase encoding direction and to obtain an enlarged image with optional magnification at an optional position by controlling a slanting magnetic field so that a frequency encoding axis is put in the reception area of a surface coil. Thus, when the enlarged image is obtained while the frequency encoding coordinate Gx' is put in the reception area 26, the folding in the phase encoding direction is eliminated and the enlarged image with optional magnification is obtained at an optional position.
