Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the error caused by the inclination of a stylus and to minimize the error of a digitizer, by setting the space between the conductor loops to a larger value at the area close to the surface of a plotting plate than the area distant away from the surface of the plotting plate so that the conductor loops are positioned on an equivalent and same magnetic potential line. CONSTITUTION:The conductor loops 5a, 5b, 4a and 4b are set in parallel on an insulated plate 6 and a plotting plate 3 which is put on the plate 6. So that a coil 2 is positioned on the same circle circumference drawn with the tip of a stylus 1 set as the center P when the tip of the stylus 1 wound with the coil 2 is positioned on the plate 3. The loops 5a and 5b plus 4a and 4b are defined as a Z axis conductor loopformed by an X axis conductor loop and a Y axis conductor loop which is orthogonal to the X axis conductor loop. The space between the axis loops is set to a larger value at the area close to the plate 3 than the area distant away from the plate 3. At the same time, the coil 2 is formed with plural coils that are set in parallel in the axial direction of the coil 2. As a result, the error caused by the inclination of the stylus 1 can be minimized.
