Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate a detection position error at the circumference of a tablet by providing a correction sense loop to both terminals of a sense loop. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic induction system coordinate reader consists of exciting coil 1 and sense loop 3 formed rectangularly at constant intervals. To left and right terminals of this sense loop 3, correction sense loop 6 having a pitch relating to the sense loop pitch is provided. To find the shape of pitch of this loop 6, a magnetic field around the circular coil is calculated and integrated with respect to the plane of the sense loop. Consequently, a detection position error at the circumference of a tablet is eliminated and the tablet has high precision even at the circumference.
