Abstract

CONSTITUTION:An arc welding source to generate a pertinent arc between an electrode and base metal according to the welding conditions is constituted in the following manner. Namely, the sequence circuit elements to carry out the necessary operating sequence are prepared for every operating sequence in advance. Then, these sequence circuits are constituted in individual units and as necessary, other circuit elements are incorporated in those units. According to the welding conditions, the necessary unit is selected from out of said units and installed on an arc welding source main body. By this method, the desired welding can be performed.
