Abstract
PURPOSE:To generate a high speed, alternating magnetic field stably and highly accurately, by providing two coils, which are wound around the same iron core, providing DC current sources, which independently supply DCs to the coils, and connecting the DC power sources and the coils so that the polarity of the magnetic field generated by one coil is reverse to the polarity of the magnetic field generated by the other coil. CONSTITUTION:Two coils 16 and 26 are wound around a common iron core 9. DC power sources 10 and 20 independently supply DCs to the coils 16 and 26. The DC power sources 10 and 20 are connected to the coils 16 and 26 so that the polarity of the magnetic field generated by one coil is reverse to the porality of the magnetic field generated by the other coil. For example, the first and second DC power sources 10 and 20 convert AC power from an AC power source 8 into intermittent DC power. The power is supplied to the first and second coils 16 and 26. The ON period of a transistor switch 14 and the ON period of a transistor switch 24 are made to appear alternately. Thus an alternate magnetic field, which is formed by an electromagnet comprising the common iron core 9 and the first and second coils 16 and 26, is generated.
