Abstract
PURPOSE:To adjust the pressure on an emitting side to a predetermined value and to continuously correct the change component of the resistance of a pipeline, by detecting the pressure on the emitting side of a water feed means by the pressure detector provided between a reactor and the water feed means to adjust the emitting amount from the water feed means. CONSTITUTION:A specimen and a reaction liquid are introduced into a degassing device 8 to remove carbon dioxide and carbon dioxide is further formed from the org. carbon contained in the specimen in a reaction tube 12. The carbon dioxide formed in the reactor 12 is sent to an infrared analyser 20 to be quantitatively analyzed. In this measuring operating process, the amount of the liquid mixture sent in the reaction tube 12 is adjusted by a pressure detector 13 and a control unit 14. The pressure detector 13 detects the pressure of the liquid mixture supplied to the reaction tube 12 from a pressure pump 10. By the control unit 14 to which the pressure of the liquid mixture corresponding to a reference flow rate is preliminarily inputted, the operation of the pressure pump 10 is controlled corresponding to the difference between reference pressure and the measured pressure to control the flow rate of the liquid mixture in the reaction tube 12.
