Abstract

The inert gas supplied from a pipe 21 becomes a bubble state in the extractor 10 and carbon dioxide is separated from the specimen supplied from the reactor 12 by said inert gas and sent to an infrared analyzer 23 through a pipe 22 to be quantitatively analyzed. The bypass route 32 connected to an inert gas supply source 8 is provided so as to meet with the midway of a pipe 22 and a three-way solenoid valve 34 is changed over by the control signal A from a control apparatus 31. The control apparatus 31 outputs the control signal A when the value of concn. data B largely lowers to feed the pure inert gas in the infrared analyser 23 for a definite period.
