Abstract

PURPOSE:To automate the sorting operations necessary for reinspection of the urine decided as to be abnormal by a measuring instrument by constituting a titled apparatus in such a manner that the urine taking vessels contg. the urine decided to be abnormal are automatically retransferred to a rack for reinspection. CONSTITUTION:A specimen rack 20 set in a specimen rack supplying part 30 is transferred to a rack lifting position (a) by a conveyor 40. Cap bodies 13 of the respective urine taking vessels 10 are removed in this position. The vessels are then transferred to a urine discharge position (b) where the urine in the respective vessels is discharged onto test paper transferred from a test paper stocker 80. The test paper 50 subjected to the urine discharge is successively transferred by a test paper transfer device 90 to an optical measurement position (c) where optical measurement operations are carried out. The specimen rack 20 with which the urine discharge ends is transferred through a post- treatment position (e) to a pickup position (f). The urine taking vessels 10 contg. the urine decided to be abnormal in the measuring section (c) are retransferred in this position (f) by a robot 160 to the rack 150 for reinspection.
