Abstract
PURPOSE:To dispense with a circuit externally provided, obtain a high frequency higher than usual one, regulate voltage applied to an oscillating source, and enable change of an oscillating frequency easily by a method wherein a Josephson element is built in an IC as an oscillating source. CONSTITUTION:As for a voltage control circuit 3 a user provides a register 6 with an information of frequency through a software. The register 6 sends a voltage dividing control signal, which shows a voltage dividing ratio, to a voltage dividing circuit 7 depending on the information of frequency. The voltage dividing circuit 7 divides the power supply voltage supplied with a main power supply 2 into the voltage dividing ratio shown in the voltage dividing control signal so as to supply a divided voltage onto a Josephson element 4 as a control power source. The Josephson element 4 oscillates a wave of frequency correspondent to the power supply voltage supplied with the voltage control circuit 3. The oscillating wave is transmitted to an oscillating circuit 5 and reformed into a wave with waveform necessary for a semiconductor integrated circuit device 1 so as to be supplied to the whole circuit device 1. And, a frequency dividing circuit provided in the oscillating circuit 5 is formed of a superconductor element, whereby a frequency can be obtained which is operational in a silicon device.
