Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable immediate identification of a measuring channel connected to a probe, by providing the body of the probe with a display section to identify the measuring channel connected to the body.
CONSTITUTION: A probe body 2 is connected to a measuring channel of a measuring apparatus through a cord 3 and a cap 1 is fitted detachably into end 2a of the probe body 2. With the cap 1 lifted, a clip is applied or the cap 1 is removed, whereby a probe is connected to a measuring point being kept in contact with the point by a pin 4 erected at the tip 2a. The probe body 2 has the diameter of an intermediate part of a solid portion excluding the tip 2a smaller than both ends thereof to form a recess 2b. Identification displays 5 of 'ch1' and 'ch2' are arranged circumferentially at the center of the recess 2b of the probe body 2 to identify measuring channels of the measuring apparatus connected to the probe body 2. A display cover 6 made cylindrical is fitted onto the recess 2b.
