Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent dust due to static electricity from being attached and to dissolve color shading, by forming a slider with a titania group compound including titania and titanium monoxide. CONSTITUTION:The sliders 11 and 12 fixed on both side planes of core chips 2 and 5 are formed with the titania group compound including the titania and the titanium monoxide. The compound can be generated by baking a titanium compound including the titanium in a reducing atmosphere and reducing a part of the titania to the titanium monoxide. By forming the sliders 11 and 12 with such compound, superior conductivity can be obtained, thereby, the generation of the static electricity due to abrasion with a recording medium can be suppressed, and the attachment of floating dust can be prevented from being generated. Also, since coloring changes from a white system to a black system, the color shading can be dissolved.
