Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for switch operation at a slave set from the incoming to rising of power supply by raising a power of a transmission/ reception circuit of the slave set automatically from the incoming from a telephone line to a radio telephone set. CONSTITUTION:When the slave set is installed to a master set, a charging circuit 6 of the master set charges a battery 9 of the slave set. When an incoming call exists from the telephone line, an incoming signal detected by a bell signal detecting circuit 5 is sent to a microcomputer 4. The microcomputer 4 activates a bell 8 and interrupts the charging current of the charging circuit 6 in a prescribed pattern. On the other hand, a charging current detection circuit 14 of the slave set side detects the intermitting state of the charging current and sends the result to the microcomputer 4. The microcomputer 4 reads a prescribed pattern from the signal of the charging current detection circuit 14, recognizes the incoming state to conduct a switch circuit 10 thereby supplying the power to the transmission/reception circuit of the slave set.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, there has been a radio telephone of this type as shown in FIG. 2.0 FIG. 3 is a transmitting/receiving circuit, and 3 is an antenna. The audio signal from the telephone line connection terminal 1 is converted into a radio frequency signal by the transmitting/receiving circuit 2 and transmitted to the handset via the antenna 3. ! The radio frequency signal from the handset is sent to the telephone line through the reverse route 3. 4 controls the transmitting/receiving circuit 2 and the bell 8 by a microcomputer. The 5-bell signal detection circuit detects a bell ringing signal among the signals sent from the connection terminal 1 to the telephone line and sends a detection signal to the microcombi 4. Reference numeral 6 denotes a charging circuit, and 7 indicates a charging terminal, which charges the storage battery of the slave unit from the charging circuit 6 via the charging terminal 7 when the slave unit is installed in the base unit.

FIG. 2 is a diagram showing the configuration of the handset. 2, 3, 4 in Figure 2. and 7 are the same as the same numbers in FIG. 2a, so their explanation will be omitted. 9 is a storage battery that supplies power to each circuit of the slave unit. Reference numeral 10 denotes a switch circuit, and when the key switch 11 is operated, the switch circuit 10 becomes conductive via the microcomputer 4, and power from the storage battery 9 is supplied to each circuit in the slave unit. 12 is a speaker, and the radio frequency signal sent from the base unit is transmitted to the antenna 3. The signal passes through the transmitter/receiver circuit 2 and is converted into an audible signal by the speaker 3. 13 is a microphone that converts the audio signal into an electrical signal, and transmits/receives the circuit 2. A radio frequency signal is sent to the base unit via the antenna 3.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention By the way, in the above-mentioned conventional wireless telephone, if a call is received from the telephone line while the slave unit is installed in the base unit and charging is in progress, After hearing the bell sound of the five swords, it was necessary to take the slave unit away from the base unit and operate the key switch 11 of the slave unit to turn on the power to the slave unit. ifv
If the radio wave channel used is multi-channel, it takes time to link the channels between the base unit and the slave unit, so there is a disadvantage that it takes even more time to communicate after hearing the bell sound. Ta.

When the child device is installed in the parent device, charging is performed from the charging circuit 6 of the parent device to the storage battery 9 of the child device. When there is an incoming call from the telephone line, the incoming call signal detected by the bell signal detection circuit 6 is sent to the microcomputer 4. The microcomputer 4 operates the bell 8 and at the same time makes the charging current of the charging circuit 6 intermittent in a predetermined pattern. On the other hand, the charging current detection circuit 14 on the slave device side detects the above-mentioned on/off state of the charging current and sends it to the microcomputer 4.
