CONSTITUTION:An Al material is subjected to hard anodic oxidation and chromated. An alumina barrier layer is uniformly formed on the surface of the Al material, a porous alumina layer is formed on the surface of the alumina barrier layer and a chromate-alumina film is formed as the surface layer of the porous alumina layer. Thus, an Al material having a corrosion and wear resistant surface is obtd.
