Abstract
1333055 Glass forming mould GLASS BULBS Ltd 5 Oct 1971 [29 Oct 1970] 51567/70 Heading C1M A mould, e.g. of cast iron for forming hollow glass articles has a porous lining on its interior surface applied by flame or plasma spraying containing 50-80% by weight Ni or Ni and Co, the remaining 15 to 50% by weight of the lining consisting of aluminium, graphite, finely divided silica or calcium fluoride. The lining is between 0À1 and 0À5 mm. thick. Nickel aluminide may be flame sprayed, 0À1 mm. thick, as a prior layer to act as a bonding agent.
