Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the large amount of concrete to be effectively cooled continuously by connecting the feeding path feeding the liquid gas for cooling concrete from a storing tank to the cooling mixer for kneading again the concrete which has been kneaded by the mixer for kneading. CONSTITUTION:Two closed type mixers 38, 38 for cooling are provided beneath the discharging hopper 36 of a kneading mixer 16. A first gas feeding path 42 is connected to each cooling mixer 38 from the two tanks 40, 40 containing liquid nitrogen gas. The concrete kneaded by the kneading mixer 16 is thrown into the cooling mixer 38. The valve of the first gas feeding path 42 is opened and liquid nitrogen gas is fed, which the mixer 38 is driven. In the evaporation process of nitrogen gas, heat is taken from the concrete, whereby the concrete is cooled. The liquid gas feeding path from the tank 40 has a second gas feeding path 44 caused to branch from the first gas feeding path 42 and connects a cement hopper 18 to an aggregate hopper 20, thereby precooling cement and aggregates.
