Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the change of terminal discriminating information by constituting a terminal discriminating information storage device, which is provided on a terminal machine, of rewritable non-volatile memory and providing a means which controls read/write to this non-volatile memory based on external information. CONSTITUTION:A communication controller 1 receives a terminal discriminating information write order from a radio exchange through a radio equipment 4 and if its destination is the controller 1 itself, a corresponding memory of an EEPROM 2 is selected by following information and data is written there. After this write, the controller 1 informs the radio exchange of the completion of write through the radio equipment 4. The controller 1 reads out terminal discriminating information and selects the corresponding memory address of the EEPROM 2 similarly at the time of reception the order and reads out data. Then, read data is transmitted to the radio exchange. Thus, change and confirmation of terminal discriminating information such as a subscriber number and a subscriber type are executed by control information from the radio exchange.
