As a result, an external input signal 62 is supplied to the block 12 from the outside of a microcomputer via an input/output terminal 12, the circuit 4 and an input selector 22 respectively. The result processed by the block 12 is delivered via the selector 32, the circuit 4 and the terminal 12. Thus the action of the block 12 is confirmed according to the coincidence or discordance secured between the output signal and the estimated output of the block 12.
