Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance reliability without imparting damage to machinery even when a butterfly valve is suddenly subjected to opening operation, by providing a pressure release device arranged in parallel to the purge fan and filter connected in series. CONSTITUTION:Butterfly valves 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D, a purge discharge fan 4, a discharge filter casing having a prefilter 6 and a high performance particle filter 7 received therein and a reactor building discharge fan 8 are connected to the intermediate part of the piping 2 connected to a rector container 1 at one end thereof and the other end of the piping 2 is connected to a main discharge cylinder 9. A butterfly valve 3E is connected to the piping 2 in parallel to the butterfly valve 3C and a pressure release device such as a rupture disc 10 is connected to the rear of said valve 3E and connected to the main discharge cylinder 9 through piping 11. By this constitution, since a pass line bypassing the purge discharge fan 4, the discharge filter case 5 and the discharge fan 8 can be formed, even when the pressure reducing operating procedure of high pressure gas is mistaken after the leakage test is finished, no damage is imparted to machinery and the reliability of the system can be enhanced.
