Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a salt drink can having an excellent pitting corrosion resis tance by using the inner surface coating steel can shell limiting an enamel rater value and seaming the easy opening lid made of aluminum with inner surface coating without corrective coating. CONSTITUTION:As an inner surface coating steel can shell, that which has the enamel rater value measured by the impressed voltage of 6.3 volt in a 1% salt water being <=10mA is used. As an aluminum lid, also, the easy opening lid made of inner surface coating aluminum. not subjected to corrective coating at a lid making and can making stage is used. The pitting corrosion of a lid can therefore be prevented without the corrective coating of the inner surface coating film of the easy opening lid by constraining a metal exposure with the enamel rater value of the can shell being taken less than 10mA. Moreover, the man/hour can be reduced because of a corrective coating being made unnec essary.
