Abstract
A corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy which has improved resistance to sagging when used in soldered components essentially comprises from 0.2 to 0.9% of manganese, from 0.05 to 0.4% of chromium, up to 0.2% of iron and up to 0.1% of silicon. The alloy, which is particularly suitable for the manufacture of large, soldered components, can be used unplated or alternatively with a solder alloy plated thereon.
