Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an apparatus giving no unnecessary voltage variation to a load by a finishing voltage varying with a change of supply voltage.
CONSTITUTION: The low-frequency variation component of supply voltage is monitored by a low-pass filter with output-voltage limiting circuit 19, a lowered percent voltage value and a reference sine-wave voltage are computed by a multiplier 20, and the result of said computation is inputted as a finishing voltage of momentary voltage-drop compensation to a compensation voltage amplitude decision circuit 10 and compared with the corresponding voltage of said supply voltage to determine the amplitude of a compensation voltage. A difference voltage detector 21 inputs the difference between said reference sinusoidal voltage and the voltage corresponding to said supply voltage to an integrating circuit 15 and sets a decision level at 10% voltage drop. Then, if a momentary voltage drop exceeding 10% occurs, an inverter base control circuit 13 is turned ON at once so that an inverter 5 starts action. A signal inputted to said inverter is a finishing voltage and the inverter 5 makes a compensating action by generation of said finishing voltage.
