Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition excellent in moldability, mechanical strengths and magnetic shielding without causing marked damage and abrasion of a kneader or a molding machine during kneading or molding, by mixing a polyamide resin with a highly pure fine partiucalte iron powder. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition comprising 2-40wt.% polyamide resin (A) (e.g., nylon 6 or nylon 6-6) and 98-60wt.% iron powder (B) of a purity >=99% and a mean particle diameter of 0.5-50mu. This resin composition does not cause marked damage and abrasion of a kneader or a molding machine during kneading or molding, is excellent in moldability, mechanical strengths and magnetic shielding and can exactly perform shielding from magnetism generated from various apparatuses and devices including electric motors.
