Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a small and thin coil provided with a core effectively by preparing conductive wires on a flexible substrate (one side) by etching, and forming a coil through connecting the wires using an anisotropic conductive film. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 16a and 16b are connected by wrapping a core 12 of magnetic material with a coil substrare 14, and a plurality of conductive wires 18 are connected to form a coil wherein a single continuous wire is wound therearound. Then the connection part is fixed. For this connecting and fixing, an anisotropic conductive film 20 is held in the manner between the connecting areas of the coil substrate 14. Then proper compression is applied over an end surface holding the anisotropic conductive film 20 as a press process in the connecting area. The anisotropic conductive film 20 is raptured. The film 20 thereby shows the adhesion by connecting the overlapped section of the conductive wires 18 mechanically, and conductor particles in the anisotropic film 20 are compressed and electrically connected. A thin type coil 10 provided with a high inductance and the core 12 in its center can thus be completed.
