PURPOSE:To shorten the overall length of a magnetic head by sandwiching one end of the winding connection terminal of the magnetic head between fixing plates for the magnetic head, and connecting the magnetic head to an external circuit through said fixing plates. CONSTITUTION:A case 2 is made of an electrically nonconductive material, and left and right legs 4 are united with the case 2. In the bottom surface of the case 2 on an opening end side, thin and long cut parts 1a and 1a where connection terminals 9 are fitted are formed. A magnetic head assembly 5, on the other hand, consists of an annular head core 6, a bobbin 7 fitted to the rear end of the core, and winding 8 provided around the bobbin 7, and to the bobbin 7, vertical parts 9a of the connection terminals 9 made of conductors bent in an L shape are fitted in one body. The lower ends of the connection terminals 9 are bent outward at right angles to form horizontal parts 9b.
