Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce overhead losses for switching operation where plural virtual computers acquire a actual computer, by providing a mode indicator register for each virtual computer number. CONSTITUTION:A first register 101, where the identification number of a virtual computer run on the actual computer is stored, and second registers 111-11K, where mode indicators which prescribe operation specifications of corresponding virtual computers in respective addresses designated by the first register 101 are stored, are provided. Since mode indicator registers (second registers) 111-11K are provided for respective virtual computers, the mode indicator MD is switched at the time of switching of virtual computers if the identification number VMID is only stored in the first register 101, and the overhead loss for the switching operation where plural virtual computers acquire the actual computer is reduced.
