Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain accurate clamp of plural input signals by switching the output of a comparator so as to use one comparator for clamping. CONSTITUTION:A comparator 40 is operated by a control signal inputted from a terminal 41 during the clamp period and the output of the comparator is inputted to a changeover switch 140 whose output side is switched by the control signal inputted from a control signal input terminal 50. In this case, the current outputted from the comparator 40 is charged to a clamp hold capacitor 121 or 122 for the input signal outputted from the output terminal 30 via the changeover switch 14, till the voltage of the output terminal 30 reaches the reference voltage 42. Then the comparator 40 does not operate except the clamp period and the output resistance of the comparator is increased. Thus, even with input numbers outputted switchingly, one comparator is used for the clamp to attain accurate clamping.
