Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve sensitivity by adding and mixing alkaline metal halogenide to phosphor layer forming material containing accelerated-phosphorescent bivalent europium activation alkaline earth metal fluoride halogenide phosphor and forming a phosphor layer by forming and sintering. CONSTITUTION:Methyl ethyl ketone is added to mixture composed of powdery bivalent europium activation fluoride barium bromide phosphor (BaFBr: 0.001Eu<2+>), sodium bromide (NaBr) and acrylate resin corresponding to 1wt.% of said phosphor, and dispersion liquid containing phosphor particles in a dispersion condition is prepared. The dispersion liquid is sufficiently agitated and mixed application liquid is prepared and uniformly applied on a Teflon sheet. After the sheet is applied, it is dried, put on a quartz plate, put in a high temperature electric furnace, and evaporation of binding agent and sintering of the phosphor are performed.
