Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve a higher reliability of a measuring data with the complete prevention of clogging within the apparatus, by a method wherein an anti-blood agglutination agent is supplied into a dilution tank to determine whether a sample to be inspected is a plasma or not by a decision means and when the sample being inspected is determined to be a plasma, a signal is outputted to an anti-blood agglutination agent supply means from a controller to add the anti-blood agglutination agent to a dilution liquid. CONSTITUTION:A sample to be inspected is supplied to a dilution tank 2 with a sample injecting mechanism 1 of the apparatus to be diluted. A dilution liquid 5 and an internal reference liquid 6 are supplied to the dilution tank 2. Biochemical analysis of the sample diluted with the dilution tank 2 is performed with an electrode measurement section 3. Moreover, an anti-blood agglutination agent 7 is supplied to the dilution tank 2. These dilution liquid 5, reference liquid 6, solidifying agent 7 and the like are supplied with two-way solenoid valves 14 and 15 and check valves 19, 20 and 21 and the like. The measurement section 3 determines whether the sample is a plasma or not and a signal is outputted to add the anti-blood agglutination agent to the dilution liquid 5 from a controller according to the results of the decision thereby preventing a measuring data from becoming defective.
