Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize pouring condition and to improve productivity by making rectified flow of molten metal through porous refractory arranged at inner part at lower part of the nozzle body and discharging remaining air from gas vent hole arranged at further lower part of the refractory. CONSTITUTION:The molten metal poured from an inner nozzle 1 to an outer nozzle 2 is passed through porous refractory 4 arranged at lower part of the nozzle body 2, to rectify the molten metal flow. Next, the remaining air is discharged from the gas vent hole 7 arranged at the lower part. By these constitutions, the flow of the molten metal is rectified and also defect caused by variation of the pouring basin part can be prevented.
