PURPOSE:To form an image whose magnification is constant irrelevantly to displacement by arranging the image formation surface of a two-dimensional image sensor in parallel to the optical axis of a projection optical system and setting the optical axis of a photodetection optical system at right angles to the optical axis of the projection optical system. CONSTITUTION:The photodetection optical system 3 and projection optical system 2 are arranged so that their optical axes cross each other at right angles. The image formation surface of the two-dimensional image sensor 4 is set in parallel to the optical axis of the projection optical system 2 and at the position where the photodetection optical system 3 covers the displacement states (a)-(c) of an object 5 of measurement within an about 45 deg. half view angle range.
