Claims (1)
- 金属フレームと、該金属フレームに絶縁基板を
介して載置される制御用ＩＣチツプと、前記金属
フレーム上に直接載置されるトランジスタチツプ
とから成るマルチチツプＩＣの過熱保護装置であ
つて、前記制御用ＩＣチツプの出力パツドと前記
トランジスタチツプのベースパツドとを連結する
金属ワイヤーと、前記出力パツドの近傍の前記制
御用ＩＣチツプ内に集積化される過熱保護回路と
を備え、前記トランジスタチツプの発熱を前記ワ
イヤーにより前記制御用ＩＣチツプの出力パツド
に伝達し、前記過熱保護回路により前記出力パツ
ドの温度を検出して前記トランジスタチツプの保
護を行なうことを特徴とする過熱保護装置。
