より映像を得る構成のものであつた。ところで近
年固体撮像素子が開発され小形軽量化が進められ
てその取り扱いもきわめて容易になつてきてい
る。この固体撮像素子を画像入力手段として用い
たテレビカメラも出現しているがこの場合は受像
器が従来のブラウン管テレビ受像器であるために
その駆動周波数はビジコンなどと同様の同期信号
に応じたものではない。ところが画像情報をデジ
タル的に取り扱う場合には出力はテレビカメラで
ある必要がないから固体撮像素子の信号転送クロ
ツクを適当に調整することにより任意の速度で画
像情報を取り入れることができる。これによつて
画像情報を従来より高速に取り込むことが可能で
ある。しかしながら転送クロツク(走査速度)と
露光時間と間には一対一の関係があるため固体撮
像素子に入射する光量を調整してやらないと適切
な像が得られないという欠点を有している。

つても(最高走査速度でも)適度の光量を照射す
るランプ7で照射する。10はその電源部であ
る。被写体6からの反射光はレンズ1を介して固
体撮像素子3へ入力され投影されるが、その光量
を制限する絞り機構2が介設されている。4は固
定撮像素子3からの出力(アナログ量)をデイジ
タル量に変換して画像メモリー5に入力するA/
D変換器である。A/D変換器の代りに二進化回
路を使用することもできる。9はクロツク信号発
生器で固定撮像素子3はこの信号を受けてそれに
対応する走査速度で画像を走査し電気信号を出力
する。絞り量調速機構5にもクロツク信号は入力
されてクロツクの速さ(走査速度)に応じた絞り
量をつくるよう絞り機構2が調整されるのであ
る。この絞り量調整の具体的な機構(方式)とし
ては種々あるがたとえばサーボモータ等により行
なわせることができる。また絞り機構2として
は、たとえばカメラの絞り機構が適用できよう。
被写体としてはたとえば錠剤などが適用される。
