Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 北海道等の寒冷地においては、冬期に水道管内
の水が凍結することが多い。これに対する対策と
しては、就寝前に管内の水を抜いて凍結深度以下
の地中に排出する水抜栓が考案され、現在では大
多数の家庭において使用されている現状である。
一般家庭における配管は第1図に示すように、凍
結深度以下の地中にある水道管1が排水弁2を有
する水抜栓3に接続し、水抜栓3に接続する立上
り管4、水平管5を経て蛇口6に至るものであ
る。さらに2階に配管しようとするときは、水平
管5に立上り管7を接続し、水平管8、蛇口9に
導かれ、2階にも給水される。11は立上り管7
の途中に設けた屋内止水栓である。屋内止水栓1
1は2階の居住者が長期不在の場合とか、2階の
居住者が常時昼間不在の場合とかに2階への給水
を断つためのものであり、公知の屋内止水栓は第
2図に示すごとくスピンドル12にねじ13を刻
設し本体14の内部に刻設した雌ねじ15に螺合
せしめスピンドルの下端にはパツキン16を収容
しスピンドル12に取付けたハンドル17を回す
ことによりスピンドル12は上下し、パツキン1

している。就寝時や長時間外出時に凍結防止のた
め立上り管、水平管内の水を排水しようとすると
きは、水抜栓3のハンドルを操作して凍結深度以
下にある排水弁から排水を行わせるが、屋内止水
栓11、蛇口9を開放しなければ完全な排水が行
われないのである。しかし水抜栓3の位置と屋内
止水栓11、蛇口9の位置が大抵離れた箇所にあ
るため、この作業は億劫であつた。また排水後に
蛇口9を閉じる必要がありこれまた億劫であつ
た。その結果一部の作業を省略することがあり、
このため凍結を招くことがあつたのである。また
スピンドル12のねじ13と、雌ねじ15との間
に水が入り込み、この水が凍結してハンドル17
を回動させることができないこともあつた。本考
案は公知品の前記欠点を排除した寒冷地用屋内止
水栓を提供することを目的とする。本考案は上記
目的を達成するため下記の構成とした。以下添附
図面に示す一実施例により更に詳細に説明する。
本考案の屋内止水栓の構成は概ね公知品と同一で
あるが、新規な点は以下のとおりである。すなわ
ちスピンドル12の下部には縦穴20が設けら
れ、数個の横穴21により外部と連通する。縦穴
20には弁22を収容する。弁22は第5図、第
6図、第7図に示すごとく、小さな円板部23、
円柱部24、大きな円板部25よりなり、小さな
円板部23、円柱部24は縦の溝26により左右
に分けられている。また小さな円板部23は溝2
6と直角方向に二面取りにしたため、おのおのの
断面はカマボコ状となつている。28はパツキン
であつて第8図に示すごとく中央に通孔29を有

けることが必要で第9図のようになる。蛇口6,

図、第5図の位置関係にあるが、配管内が負圧と
なると排水ができない。そのため負圧を解消する
吸気弁10が必要であり、これが作動すると管内
に空気を入れ、立上り管7のうち屋内止水栓11
