Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit fully continuous and automatic operation of a surface treatment to be used for a barrel by fitting a cover plate pivotally to one edge of the aperture of a perforated vessel, opening the cover plate fully by a detaining means and providing a cover plate unlocking mechanism between the cover plate and the perforated vessel. CONSTITUTION:The cover plate 7A is unlocked by the cover plate unlocking mechanism and the perforated vessel 1A is rotated, then the cover plate 7A opens automatically by its own weight when the aperture 6A is positioned on the lower side. The cover plate 7A is pivotally fitted to the rear edge 11A of the aperture 6A so that the cover plate is opened to the prescribed angle by the detaining means when the cover plate is fully opened. The vessel 1A rotates further to move the aperture 6A to the upper side. Works are charged into the vessel 1A just prior to the closing of the cover plate 7A and the cover plate is locked by the detaining means. The works are subjected to the surface treatment such as plating when the vessel 1A is immersed into a treating liquid in this state. Automatic charging of works into and out of the vessel is permitted by the above-mentioned method, by which the fully continuous and automatic operation of the surface treatment is attained.

A surface treatment barrel is used to continuously perform surface treatments such as plating and phosphate treatment. The surface treatment barrel is generally a porous container with a polygonal cross section (usually hexagonal shape), and the object to be treated is placed in the porous container and is rotatably supported by a frame. When the barrel is immersed in the processing liquid in the processing tank, the processing liquid flows into the porous container through the holes, and when the barrel is rotated or rocked in this state, the porous The object to be treated f'i in the container is stirred and brought into uniform contact with the processing solution, and in the case of plating, when electricity is applied to the object to be treated in the barrel as a cathode, plating or other surface treatment is applied to the surface of the object to be treated. administered. After processing, the barrel is taken out from the processing tank by means of a conveying means via the frame, and further transferred to the next predetermined processing tank for the next processing.

The surface treatment barrel is thus extremely useful because it is successively conveyed to a series of treatment tanks to automatically carry out water supply and surface treatment. For example, in the case of galvanizing, a pre-cleaning tank, a degreasing tank, a washing tank, a plating tank, and a washing tank are arranged, and the barrel is sequentially transferred and immersed in each of the tanks, and a series of treatments is automatically performed.

All the attachment and detachment of such lids (with force) must be done manually by workers, and therefore, it is extremely time-consuming to take in and out the objects to be treated from the barrel I.Continuous surface treatment using one surface treatment barrel This was a major bottleneck in fully automation. For example, in the case of metsuki, at the end of the process, the barrel or workpiece is taken out for post-processing and drying, but at this time, the barrel must be opened and closed, and the workpiece taken out. This had to be done manually, making it impossible to completely automate the continuous plating process.

When the barrel is immersed in the processing liquid in this state, the processing liquid flows into the container through the hole and comes into contact with the object to be processed. When the barrel is rotated or rocked, the object to be treated is stirred within the barrel and uniformly comes into contact with the treatment liquid to undergo surface treatment such as plating. After processing, the barrel is removed from the processing solution, the lock-release mechanism is used to unlock the lid plate, and the barrel is rotated. When the opening is located on the lower side, the lid automatically opens under its own weight to release the processed material inside the barrel. The object falls to the outside from the opening due to its own weight and is received in a predetermined receiving means.

The operation procedure of the barrel (141A) when loading and unloading the workpiece into and out of the loading/unloading frame (barrel Q4 suspended on 40) A is shown in FIG. When this happens, barrel α4A will stop and air cylinder G will stop.
4ED is activated and the lid of barrel α4A (7
) A is unlocked, and in this state, when barrel (14) A is further rotated in the direction of the arrow, as barrel α4A rotates, the lid (force A begins to open due to its own weight, and in the state shown at the mouth, the lid (14) begins to open due to its own weight, The object 6D will automatically fall. After taking out the object 5υ, further rotate the barrel α41A in the direction of the arrow to change from the state C to the state E where the force A is vertical. When the barrel C141A further rotates slightly in the direction of the arrow from the state E, the lid (7) A closes in the opening (6) under its own weight.

As mentioned above, when the lid (sword A) is fully opened, it is received by the receiving piece QυA so that it forms an angle θ with the opening (6) A as shown in Figure 2. In the state of , the opening 16) A is tilted by θ-90° from the horizontal. The angle of the opening (6) A, which is easy to feed the workpiece into the barrel 04) A, is an obtuse angle of approximately 125°. Therefore, it is desirable to set θ to 35°○However, 1 (7)
When the full opening angle θ of A is set to 90° or less as shown in FIG. 10, it may be convenient because the force A acts as a guide when loading the object to be processed 6).

Contents of amendment 1: The scope of claims is amended as follows. (1) An opening is provided at a predetermined location on the periphery of a porous container which is rotatably supported by a frame, and one edge of the opening opens outward. The root edge of the lid plate is pivotally attached, and a locking means is provided on the lid plate pivoting portion t so that the opening and the lid plate meet at a predetermined angle when the lid plate is fully opened. This barrel for surface treatment is characterized in that a lid plate lock-release mechanism is attached between the lid plate and the porous container (2).The lid plate lock-release mechanism is attached to the other edge of the opening.
A locking hole portion is fixed therein, a locking piece is provided on the cover plate and can be inserted into and removed from the locking hole portion, and a locking piece is inserted into and removed from the locking hole portion. The surface treatment barrel (8) according to Claim (1), which is composed of a locking piece and a movable groove, has an opening force on the other edge of the surface treatment barrel (8). t
``Claim (1) of the Claims'' consists of a locking hook provided in this manner and a locking hook operating mechanism that engages and disengages the locking hook with the locking piece while the lid plate is connected. The surface treatment barrel (4) described above has a rotatable frame with an opening at a predetermined location on the circumference of the supported porous container, and one edge of the opening has an opening facing outward. A locking means is provided at the pivot point of the lid plate so that the root edge of the lid plate is pivoted to open the lid plate, and when the lid plate is fully opened, the opening and the lid plate meet at a predetermined angle. Furthermore, between the lid plate and the porous container, there is a surface treatment barrel equipped with a lid plate lock/release mechanism for loading and unloading the object to be treated.
Lock the lid plate while the barrel contains the object to be processed.
Rotate the barrel with the release mechanism in the release state, and the opening is downward? Are you going to move this? Therefore, the lid plate is opened by its own weight, and the object to be processed falls out of the opening by its own weight.Furthermore, when the barrel rotates and the opening moves upward, the object to be processed is moved from the opening into the inside of the barrel. Insert it, and then close the opening with a further squeeze. - Lid plate lock - A method for loading and unloading objects to be processed in a pallet machine characterized by setting the release mechanism in the closed state.'' 2, page 6, line 13, ``rear edge'' is replaced with ``one edge.''
