Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 所定の口径を有する実質的に円筒形状を成し、
所定の圧力を有する陰極ガス組成を含む陰極内部
室を規定する陰極スリーブ部材22と、 前記陰極スリーブ部材に取付けられ、前記陰極
内部室を規定し、誘電体合成材料から成る陰極基
底部材24と、 前記陰極内部室に設けられ、前記陰極基底部材
を貫通しかつ前記陰極基底部材に絶縁されつつ強
固に確保され、前記陰極スリーブ部材の外表面か
ら電子を放出するために前記陰極スリーブ部材を
加熱する第1陽極14と、 前記外表面から放出された電子を加速するため
に前記陰極スリーブ部材の外側に取付けられる第
2陽極16と、 前記陰極スリーブ部材、陰極基底部材、第1陽
極および第2陽極を密封して取囲み、所定のガス
組成を内蔵し、内壁を前記ガス組成原子のイオン
化による紫外線エネルギにより発光する螢光材料
58により被覆される管球部材18とを備え、 前記陰極ガス組成はアルゴン、ネオン、クリプ
トン、キセノン、ヘリウムのいずれかからなる不
活性ガスから成り、前記陰極スリーブ部材の口径
d(cm)と前記陰極ガス組成の圧力p(mmHg)
との関係が2.0〈p・d〈3.0を満足するよ
うに設定さイる照明装置。
