が漏出したり、悪臭を放つなど衛生上の問題点も多かっ

スクリューの回転により圧搾・脱水したものを外部に取
出すことにより嵩密度を増し、その取扱いを容易にする
と共に、輸送途中の汁液の漏れを無くし、焼却処分する
際の燃料費の低減をはかるものである。

その通用場所は家庭用ではなく、もっと多量に厨芥を発
生する食品工場及び惣菜工場向に有効に通用可能である
と共に、食堂など多量の食餌屑の発生する所に向けるも
のであり、例えば平均水分率90%のものを60%迄圧
搾・脱水可能であり、最初に保有していた水分が1/6
にまで脱水できれば、その後の輸送の際に汁液が漏れる
ことがなく、その取扱いが容易になると共に、燃焼処理
する場合の燃料節減がはかれるという多くの効果がある
