本発明は、建設の基礎工事で行われる杭孔の造

既成杭の建込みや現場造成杭の施工などで削孔
には、アースオーガーがよく使用される。アース

が、従来のアースオーガーではスクリユー先端の
オーガーヘツド1は第1図に示すように2枚の羽
根2,3を有するものであつた。この2枚の羽根
2,3のうち羽根2は上部スクリユーの羽根(図
示せず)に連続するものであり、羽根3は該羽根
2に対し対称に設けられ、いずれも先端に掘削刃
4を複数枚植設している。このような複数の羽根
2,3を設けたのは掘削時のバランスを保つため
であるが、かかる構造のものでは羽根相互のピツ
チ間隙が狭いため転石等を食込んで圧密作用を起
こしやすく、また第2の羽根3は上部のスクリユ
ー本体の羽根に連続しないため、この羽根3によ
り押上げられた土砂が羽根の途切れ部に留まり圧
密作用を起こす。このように土砂が途中で圧密す
ると当然のことながらスクリユー作用が発揮でき

リユー本体への継節用差込部5bが形成されてい
る。第3図〜第7図は前記オーガーヘツド1aの
変形例を示し、第3図でのオーガーヘツド1bは
ロツド5の下端に弁閉塞防止板としての役割をな
す案内刃6を設けたもの、第4図のオーガーヘツ
ド1cはこの第3図の例よりもロツド5を下方に
伸ばし、案内刃6は掘削刃4,4′よりも完全に

掘削刃4,4′,4″及び案内刃6で削られた土砂
は羽根2に沿つて上方に移動され、スクリユー本
体の羽根9aに移行して上方に搬出される。な

あまり力がかからないようにしたので、アースオ
ーガーは曲がることなく正確に掘進することがで
